Privacy Policy

ColorfulVibe is a local desktop application. This policy explains what stays on your computer, what limited information reaches ColorfulVibe services, and the choices available to you.
Local application data
Terminal content, project files, working directories, prompts, agent output, git repositories, and local configuration are not uploaded to a ColorfulVibe cloud service. Sessions run through local pseudo-terminals on your computer.
Secrets you add to the ColorfulVibe vault are stored through the operating system keyring. ColorfulVibe uses them only for the local actions you configure, such as a Secured Run. Vault values are not sent to the ColorfulVibe license service.
License activation
When you activate ColorfulVibe, the app sends the license key you enter, a one-way device identifier, and the installed app version to the ColorfulVibe license service. The service uses this information to verify entitlement, enforce device limits, issue a signed activation certificate, and prevent unauthorized use.
License records may include a keyed digest of the license key, a device digest, activation identifiers, license plan and status, app version, timestamps, and security or lifecycle events. Raw license keys and raw machine fingerprints are not stored in the license database.
Installer downloads
The download page submits a license key directly to the ColorfulVibe license service. The page does not save the key in browser storage. After successful verification, the service creates a short-lived, secure, HTTP-only cookie that authorizes the installer download. Download events may be recorded for fraud prevention and service operations.
Optional network features
- Phone remote: when you enable remote access, your paired device connects to the local ColorfulVibe server over the network path you choose, such as your LAN or Tailscale. ColorfulVibe does not relay that terminal traffic through its license service.
- Agent providers: Claude Code, Codex, and custom agents communicate according to their own configuration and provider policies. ColorfulVibe does not replace or proxy those provider accounts.
- Updates: if signed update checking is enabled in a future release, the app may request release metadata from a ColorfulVibe service. Any such request will not include terminal or project content.
Operational data
Cloudflare, which hosts the website and license service, may process standard request information such as IP address, user agent, request time, and security signals to deliver and protect the service. ColorfulVibe does not currently use advertising trackers or sell personal information.
Retention and security
License and activation records are retained as needed to provide the licensed service, handle device changes, investigate abuse, and meet legal obligations. ColorfulVibe uses access controls, signed certificates, one-way digests, short-lived download authorization, and encrypted transport to reduce exposure.
Your choices
You can stop optional network features in the app, deactivate a licensed device, or uninstall ColorfulVibe. To request access, correction, or deletion of information associated with your license, email privacy@colorfulvibe.com. Some records may be retained where required for security, accounting, or legal compliance.
Third-party services
Services you choose to use with ColorfulVibe are governed by their own policies. Relevant providers may include Anthropic, OpenAI, Cloudflare, Microsoft, and your payment provider.
